The fanlisting part of this page was started at June 5, 2005
and counts 43 members now, about nine month later.

Mikko is one of the best drummers in the whole world, playing with bands like Megaphone, The Contact, Kengurumeininki, Apocalyptica and others.
He absolutely deserves this site and so his 30th birthday gave me the reason for doing it.

What about the name "Absolutely Mikko Mukke"?
Mukke is a German slang word for music.
Once we have been on a Apocalyptica concert and the intros began. We know that Mikko was the one who chose them but we did not know the names of the songs or the bands. But we knew, "four to go" (when you have been to about two concerts of Apocalyptica in your life you know the intros at the first note ;) ) We had to call the songs somehow... we are German, it was a kind of music by Mikko, not played but choosen... the thing was clear: Mikko Mukke!
So "Mikko Mukke" means in the origin the four last songs before a concert will start. But I thought it would be a good name for this page. Mikko is not only drummer of Apocalyptica. He plays with other bands, as you should know, Megaphone and The Contact jne. That are totally other kinds of music. Other Mukke.... Mikko Mukke!

While doing the third layout I thought about giving this site a new name, even if it's more usual as the old name. But finally it is pretty funny to be asked for next time what "Mukke" means... well, I know it looks Finnish but is German ;)

So let this continue as "The first Mikko Sirén Fansite"!
